NEW DEADLINE FOR ENTERING ENERGY DATA: MARCH 28, 2019
Due to the lack of access to the Energy Star Portfolio Manager platform for a few weeks, the deadline has been extended by one month to allow participants to enter their energy consumption data in order to take part in Year 1 of the competition. The new deadline is March 28, 2019.
There's still time to register your building(s). You can do so at any time if you want to participate in Year 2 of the competition.

BOMA AWARDS: DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING CANDIDACY IS MARCH 7. HAVE YOU SIGNED UP?
Organizations wishing to promote their projects have until March 7, 2019 to submit their building projects to the jury. Don't leave it to the last minute. Take the time to prepare your submission and to give your project a chance to shine in the spotlight!

BOMA BEST CERTIFIES FIRST BUILDING IN MEXICO
BOMA Canada has announced the first BOMA BEST certified building in Mexico, Torre Origami at 1458 Avenida Insurgentes Sur, Benito Juárez, CDMX, managed by Central de Inmuebles – has received a Silver certification.
BOMA Canada has been working closely with BOMA Mexico to offer buildings in Mexico an opportunity to assess and improve their environmental performance using the BOMA BEST program since 2017.

A Call For Education Session Submissions
The 2019 BOMEX will be held September 9-11 at the St. John’s Convention Centre, St. John’s, NL. The organization is currently looking for professionals who can give insight in a variety of subjects : Sustainability, Resilience, Physical Security, Emerging Trends in Real Estate, Creating a Career in Real Estate, etc. If you’ve got a topic or idea they might not have thought of, let them know. Presentations can be in french or english.
