BOMA Quebec presents the 2023 – 2024 Board of Directors

A Year of Reconnecting and Continuity

Montreal, 5 April 2023 – The BOMA Quebec annual general meeting took place on April 4 at Maison Alcan in Montreal. More than eighty participants attended the Association's AGM for news and reports on a busy year, one that, at long last, marked the beginning of a gradual return to normal activities.

"It's already been a year since I was given the honour of becoming President of BOMA Quebec, and what an encouraging year it has been! I think that once again, the last few months have demonstrated our organization's ability to adapt effectively to a context of profound change. We are now finally able to come together for a variety of activities, such as training sessions and presentations developed specifically to address the challenges and issues facing our community.

The pandemic forced us to drastically review our methods and redefine our services, but I sincerely believe that all in all it has made us all better, more resilient and more effective on many levels in our respective business realms," said Linda Plante, President of BOMA Quebec.

BOMA Quebec activities continued throughout the year, with presentations on several topics: energy management, decarbonization of buildings, managing parking spaces in a new hybrid work context, real estate financing, attracting and retaining tenants in office buildings, municipal regulations on GHG emissions disclosure and ratings, and so on.

More than 2114 people attended 27 activities organized by the Association. That trend will continue with the BOMA Awards Gala on May 10 at the Casino de Montréal, a special event that will celebrate the winners of the 18th edition of the BOMA Awards competition.

"I would like to sincerely thank all the partners of BOMA Quebec, all the working committees, volunteers and full-time staff who allow BOMA Quebec to surpass itself year after year. Your loyalty and commitment are important and much appreciated."
