More than 350 commercial real estate owners and managers gathered together on Thursday, May 15 at the renowned Le 9e restaurant in downtown Montreal for the 2025-26 BOMA Quebec Awards Gala, presented by JLL Canada, Toitures Atlas and GDI-Ainsworth.
This prestigious event takes place every two years. It pays tribute to excellence in property management, and marks the start of a journey that could see the winning organizations compete with the best in the industry on national and international levels.
Four new categories made their appearance at this 19th edition, all with a clear objective: highlight the teams and professionals who contribute to the success of our buildings on a daily basis, an evolution that reaffirms the importance of people at the heart of real estate performance. It’s the perfect opportunity to showcase your achievements!

2025– 2026 AWARD WINNERS
The BUILDING OF THE YEAR AWARD is the commercial real estate industry's highest distinction in North America. It recognizes organizations that stand out for the excellence of their management, the quality of their operations and their environmental performance.
The winner of this 19th edition is:

The PINNACLE AWARD recognizes excellence in customer service. It honours companies that stand out for the exceptional quality of their service, their sense of innovation, their consistency, their creativity and the integrity of their approach.

The EXCELLENCE AWARD - BUILDING OPERATIONS TEAM highlights the excellence of our technical teams. Often behind the scenes, they are essential to the smooth running of our buildings, and this award pays tribute to their expertise in maintenance, systems management and innovation.
This year's winner in this category is:
- Groupe immobilier Desjardins
The EXCELLENCE AWARD - SHARED AMENITIES SPACE recognizes efforts to create attractive, functional common spaces that promote occupant well-being and enhance the added value of buildings.
The first winner of this award is:
- BGO
The BOMA BEST AWARD honours buildings certified BOMA BEST between April 1, 2024 and March 31, 2025, i.e. buildings that obtained the best score in their category.

PRESIDENT’S AWARD and EXCEPTIONAL VOLUNTEER AWARD
The PRESIDENT’S AWARD, given to a volunteer member who has distinguished himself/herself with outstanding commitment, dedication and contributions to the organization, was awarded to Linda Plante, outgoing President of BOMA Quebec and President of Linda Plante Conseils.
The EXCEPTIONAL VOLUNTEER AWARD acknowledges the commitment of a volunteer who has distinguished himself or herself over the previous year. It was awarded to three individuals : Anabel Schneller, member of the BOMA Quebec Young Professionals Committee and ESG Coordinator at BGO; Catherine-Geneviève Paquet, a member of the BOMA Greater Quebec City Committee and senior manager with the Canderel Group; and Nathalie Gauthier, president of the BOMA Montreal Golf Committee and senior property manager with the Petra Group.

Keep in mind that all 2025 winners, with the exception of the Excellence Award, qualify for the national competition to be held in Halifax during BOMEX from September 15 to 17, 2025. Good luck to one and all!
