It's a hot topic among business owners, directors and Human Resources managers. The shortage of manpower is increasingly being felt in many sectors of activity across Quebec. It is something that is having an adverse effect on many organizations, and it is hindering economic growth.
The real estate industry has also been affected, particularly as regards cleaning and maintenance services, and an overview of the situation has been conducted by GDI Integrated Facility Services. The firm's Vice-president and executive director Sylvain Ouellet will outline the impact of the manpower shortage, the initiatives put into place to improve the situation, and the outlook for the near future.
François Bourque, a journalist for Le Soleil, and Jean-Pierre Lessard, a founding associate of Aviseo conseil, will present a comprehensive portrait and an analysis of the problem in the region, the financial impact at the regional and provincial levels and a snapshot of the situation in Quebec City as compared to the rest of the province.
