    BOMA BEST certification is more popular than ever. Since 2005 more than 5000 buildings in Canada have been certified or recertified, an acknowledgement of their excellent energy and environmental management performance. This inspiring presentation will feature the favourite measures of a BOMA BEST program auditor. She will describe original and diverse initiatives that have been implemented in buildings certified BOMA BEST. Learn about variations and helpful tips that can be adapted to the needs of your building!

  • 4:45 p.m. - Conférence 3 : Follow-up on Bill 122 (In french)

    Does the first building audit indicate that major repairs are required? What are the causes and why did they occur? The talk will present case histories involving walls made of pre-fab concrete or brick, as well as curtain walls. Emphasis will be on important tools, with specialists outlining the work entailed. Also included will be notes about the second building audit after 5 years, and the ins and outs of surface maintenance.

    Panelists :  Mr. Mario V. Petrone, architect and landscape architect with Petrone Architecture Inc., Mr. Jean Nadeau, specialist in drone operations in urban environments for Elipto and Mr. Pierre Gendron, consultant in infrared thermography applications.
